18/02/2026 I am writing to formally demand urgent enforcement action regarding the ongoing and repeated obstruction of Brunswick Square by contractors operating at the adjacent construction site. Despite prior assurances from the site representative following a meeting on 23 January 2026, the access road continues to be blocked almost daily by cement mixers and pumps. No access gap is being maintained. This is now a persistent and deliberate obstruction. The consequences are serious: • Over 34 rate-paying business units are being denied lawful access. • Emergency vehicle access is being compromised. • HGVs are being forced to reverse out of the estate, creating a clear public safety risk. • Cement spatter has caused damage to vehicles, buildings, and shopfront glass. I have requested evidence of any lawful road closure order. None has been provided. A parking suspension notice does not authorise a full road closure or obstruction of the highway. I require the Council to confirm immediately: 1. Whether any lawful closure order exists; 2. What enforcement action will now be taken; and 3. When continuous vehicular access will be restored. I am compiling CCTV evidence of repeated obstructions. If this matter is not addressed without delay, I will escalate to the police, the Health and Safety Executive, and pursue remedies available under the Highways Act 1980 without further notice. This situation is unacceptable and requires immediate intervention. I expect a prompt written response. Yours faithfully, Hidir Aslan

18/02/2026 VIOLETS in the grounds of Chettle Court and on the west side of the footpath linking Mount View and Ridge Roads. See my email of 20/03/2025 (ref HC-114520656). The hundreds of violet plants within Chettle Court were strimmed either 3 or 4 times last year despite my email. The plants are small but are just coming into flower. If you haven't yet done so,It would be an ideal time to visit. They are a popular asset it would be great if you could instruct your gardening team never to cut them back!

18/02/2026 The large tree at the rear of the property appears to be on council freehold land within the downstairs tenant’s garden and is impacting the building. Its branches are striking the exterior wall, roof, and gutters of our flat, causing ongoing disturbance and potential damage. The overhanging branches are also allowing vermin to access our window sills. The tree is significantly overgrown and requires urgent trimming, as it poses a risk to the apartment block. In addition, the roots appear to be encroaching towards the building foundations, which is concerning from a structural perspective. We request that the council inspect the tree and take appropriate action to prevent further damage and risk to the property.
