Haringey Council - Tottenham Hale Ward
Description
Hi There, As the council will very well be aware there is a man that lives rough under a make shift shelter of timber and plastic bags in the Down Park Tottenham Hale. The residents and occupants of the park i would say accept this however today it seems that the use of the space as in my view gone too far. Washing line with washing, Bags of rubbish and just use of council land that we as tax payers should not be subjected to. I feel that this is a somewhat abuse of the park and council land to continue to use this space in this way. The person has been moved on several times and he just keeps coming back. I am all for supporting of people in need and have myself a helped him when he first arrived it would seem over 9 months ago. He is doing no specific hard however this is across from where the children play and we as the community walk past each day. To see the washing and rubbish is just too much. Can the council please enforce the non- use of their land? I feel this person is abusing the system and it is not fair on others who are in the same situation. will this encourage other less fortunate people to do the same?
