There is invasive bamboo in the playground behind our garden (Boyton Close 6) which belongs to the council. We have obtained the report from a company specialising in bamboo removal which has concluded that there is three areas affected by the bamboo growth - our garden, our neighbours' and the council-run playground. Could you please confirm when a team can inspect the playground and what steps the council will take to treat the bamboo on your property? Please urgently totally remove the erroneous white parking bay lines between the zebra crossing and the yellow zigzag lines. Large vehicles regularly park there making it very dangerous for children using the zebra crossing. Previously the white lines have been painted over with black paint, but that wears off, leaving the white paint showing again. I work for Haringey in the voids department. for as long as we have had the property in our possession the car has been left on the drive full of rubbish. I have reported this a few weeks back and the car is still there. we have contractors carrying works out there at the moment and they are having trouble parking. When Thames water undertook their repairs to our road a few weeks ago (they are still in the process but are down at the bottom of the road just now) they drilled through part of my crossover at my house number , breaking up some of the stones in the process. They promised to make good at the appropriate time, but to date have not. Despite several complaints at the time and speaking to Thames Water employees since then, who promised to inspect it and reinstate accordingly, nothing has been done. It is not helped by the fact a yellow water hydrant has been fixed right in the middle of the repair, which is uneven and surrounded by broken paving. -14 Sheldon Avenue, Hornsey, London, N6 4JT
