URGENT – COMPLETE LACK OF LIGHTING THROUGH THE PARK

I am reporting an urgent and serious public safety issue concerning the complete lack of lighting along the pathway through the park.

The entire route is currently completely dark after nightfall. There is effectively no visibility, leaving pedestrians to walk through the park without being able to properly see the path, obstacles or people around them.

This is completely unacceptable for a public pathway. The current situation creates a serious and foreseeable safety and security risk, particularly for people walking alone after dark. The lack of lighting also makes it difficult for pedestrians to be seen by others and increases the risk of accidents and other incidents.

This is not a minor lighting problem or a request for improved lighting. The route is completely dark and needs urgent attention.

Please do not close this report simply by stating that it has been logged. The current situation requires action.

Leaving a public route through a park in complete darkness is a serious concern for anyone expected to use it after dark. I ask the Council to treat this as an urgent public safety matter and provide a clear timeframe for resolving it.-Unit 5, 555 White Hart Lane, Tottenham, London, N17 7RP

SHELLMAR the contractor, hired by the council, have been caught by residents of the road fly tipping wood, a concrete beam and wooden waste from a construction site led by the council. When confronted they said their boss from the council had instructed them to do so. This is unacceptable. Vehicles were 2xvans. Numberplate HV74UFJ and Y075AXX. They were confrontational and tried to lie to us, despite us seeing them do it with our own eyes. -Priscilla Close, London N15 3BF, UK
