I have just passed this tree - part of the trunk has split and therefore a large heavy branch is obstructing the pavement for anyone who is over about 4 foot tall. The new tree that was planted outside our house 18 months ago needs a tree stake to help it grow upwards in a more safe direction. The tree stake was removed and it is growing at a slant which could be a problem going forward.
