02/11/2026 There is insufficient street lighting on Lorne Road opposite no. 4 and 6 outside the power outhouse creating a dark spot that attracts local users to take drugs and meet with dealers, creating a threatening environment. With the darker evenings approaching, the activity is starting to return. This is causing considerable concern for local residents, particularly families with young children. I would like to request an assessment of the lighting and whether additional lighting could be installed

02/11/2026 Dear Council, I am writing to report over a month of persistent water leaking over the pedestrian public footpath in front of . The water comes from a street meter and is flooding the footpath making it constantly damp and hazardous, damaging also the properties underfloor gate killer. This leak has been going on for over a month now. I have slipped over myself already since the water gets covered in leaves making it slippery and dangerous for pedestrians. Thames water has been contacted multiple times from residents and nothing has been done. With the winter months that water will become icy making it very dangerous for residents. We would appreciate if something can be done as a matter of urgency. None the less, the loss of such a precious resource like water when we had months of draught, is absolutely unacceptable. Thank you, kind regards

This frame with nails sticking out of it has been here for at least a month. I reported it about 3 weeks ago, and it was marked as "closed" the following day - but the dangerous frame is still here, posing risk for pedestrians. Please remove asap. 02/11/2026 A contractor erecting scaffolding to work on the roof of a warehouse has unnecessarily chopped down one of our local trees to put his scaffold tower up and he told us aggressively to mind own business and that he didn’t care! Please can the tree be replaced and the contractor fined/ warned? Our neighbourhood needs its trees and it’s the second one in a month that has been chopped down by contractors without permission. The other one is on the corner of Townsend and Wakefield Road - it is becoming a pattern that needs to be stopped by enforcement
