03/11/2026 The kerb and pavement along houses numbered 28 to 34 are always wet with slight water pooling. This has been like this over at least 3 years and even through the drought. Thames Water have investigated and confirmed it is not their leak and suggested it being ground water. As it is very near properties I am concerned about damage being caused to the foundations which are built on clay soil.

03/11/2026 Speed humps were installed in Perth Road earlier this year (January?). Since the installation, serious cracks have appeared in the walls of our house (No 33 Perth Road). Our nextdoor neighbours at No 35 have the same problem.

03/11/2026 I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding persistent speeding by vehicles on my road. Vehicles are regularly travelling at excessive speeds, creating a serious safety concern for residents, pedestrians and other road users. I am concerned that unless action is taken, it is only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or worse. I would like the council to investigate this matter and consider introducing appropriate traffic-calming measures, including speed humps, improved signage, speed monitoring or other measures to prevent dangerous driving. I would also request that a speed survey is carried out to establish the extent of the problem. Please treat this as a formal road-safety complaint and provide a clear written response explaining what action the council intends to take. Residents should not have to wait until a serious accident occurs before something is done. I look forward to your response.
