Please see the photo. A large section of the pavement asphalt has collapsed inward, creating a jagged, deep hole. Large chunks of the paved surface have fallen into the void. This is more than a pothole and appears to be an expanding sinkhole. It is concerning as there was repair to pipes completed last year. 05/02/2026 am writing to report an ongoing issue with the bus lane road markings outside our premises. Near Med chem pharmacy . There is a bus lane marked along the carriageway directly in front of our driveway; however, the bus lane line has not been broken to allow access into the driveway, despite this being the only vehicular access to the pharmacy. As a result, we are receiving Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) when vehicles are simply entering or exiting the premises. This situation is causing significant inconvenience and is unfair, as access to the property cannot be achieved without crossing the bus lane. Access to the pharmacy is essential for deliveries, staff, and customers, and the current road markings do not clearly indicate that crossing is permitted for property access. This appears to be a road-marking error rather than an intentional restriction. We kindly request that the council: Inspect the location as a matter of urgency, Amend the road markings by breaking the bus lane line at the driveway, and/or Provide written confirmation that vehicles may lawfully cross the bus lane solely for access to the premises, so that further PCNs are avoided. Please let us know if any further information or photographs are required. We would appreciate confirmation once the matter has been reviewed and advised on how existing PCNs should be addressed. 05/02/2026 Bent damaged leaning barrier rails, very old fashioned. Please review them to ascertain as to their function or need? Barriers at crossing is not common or needed this is not a busy or cluttered crossing. Can they be removed to reduce street clutter and appearance. If they have a function can they be replaced with an alternative or at very least repaired.
