Hi there! I know areas of the Paddock are closed off at the moment for maintenance but the barriers have gaps in them letting people get in and making available routes unclear. Yesterday, I went for a walk around the Wetlands and popped into the Paddock, and people were going in and out of one section, so I naturally went in not thinking about it. I was looking at my phone and near the bridge across to Hale Wharf, I bumped my leg into a metal stake at the end of the walkway. This cut my leg open fairly deep and I've had to see A&E and get a tetanus shot and stitches to be safe! The top of the stake has a sharp metal rim which caught me when I wasn't looking. As I exited, I realised I was in a fenced off area, but at the same time other people were still coming in and looking around. Just for safety I'd make sure it's fully barricaded off when possible so nobody else injures themselves. Thank you!
