15/12/2025 The drain on the curbside / road is blocked or has an issue causing an horrible smell for the nearby properties. This means no one can open the windows on the street. This problem has been ongoing for months and needs to be addressed urgently.

15/12/2025 Dear Haringey Council Streets and Trees Team, I am writing to request an assessment of the street tree located on the pavement outside 6 and 8 Nelson Road, Haringey N8 9RU. The tree sheds a very large volume of berries and debris over a prolonged period. I sweep the pavement outside my property daily, yet each day it is quickly covered again. As shown in the attached photographs, this results in a persistently slippery surface across the full width of the footway. The condition presents an ongoing slip risk, particularly for older residents, people with mobility issues, and those with pushchairs. The problem persists even in dry weather and cannot be mitigated through regular sweeping alone due to the volume and frequency of the fallen berries. I recognise the importance of maintaining street trees and am not requesting removal without replacement. However, given the repeated safety issue and the unsuitability of this species for a narrow residential pavement, I would ask the council to consider replacing it with a more appropriate tree that does not produce excessive fruit drop. I would be grateful if the tree could be inspected and this request considered in line with the council’s highways safety and street tree management responsibilities.

15/12/2025 Thames Water have been working in our street for a month and this will continue for at least another week. The road has been entirely dug up. We will be left with a patchwork asphalt and faded parking bay paintwork. I think there is an argument for re-asphalting and line painting when the work will be finally complete. Many thanks Monelle Roseman

Thank you for your report. We will aim to assess your report within two working days and decide how urgently it needs to be dealt with.-134 Cranley Gardens, Hornsey, London, N10 3AH
 In Progress
15/12/2025 The manhole cover in the centre of the road outside 134 Cranley Gardens has been loose for months. It is still loose and getting looser – and thus noisier every time a vehicle drives over it. Since the road is much used around the clock, the repeated clanking now constitutes a long-standing and increasing nuisance. Left unrepaired beyond, say, the middle of January, it may well give grounds for a noise abatement application and/or an action for nuisance and negligence against the council.

15/12/2025 The metal grid around this tree on Langham parade is lifted on two corners in a busy thoroughfare. I tripped on it on Friday and went face down onto the pavement, fortunately no breaks or head injury, just bruises. I tripped again today coming the other way. It needs repair and levelling to avoid significant injury to pedestrians
