To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the disgraceful condition of Allington Avenue. As a council tax payer, I find it completely unacceptable that our street has been allowed to deteriorate to this extent.

At this point, it feels as though we are living in a forest rather than a residential street. The grass is excessively overgrown, and the shrubs have become so thick that they block visibility for both pedestrians and drivers. This is not only unsightly but dangerous, particularly now that the evenings are darker. The overgrowth creates perfect hiding places, raising genuine safety concerns for residents.

To make matters worse, the neglect has attracted foxes, rats, and even massive spiders, which is both unpleasant and unhygienic. The build-up of fallen leaves has added to the mess, creating slippery and unsafe conditions underfoot.

Meanwhile, nearby streets are being properly maintained, which makes the state of Allington Avenue even more unacceptable. It is unfair and disheartening to see other areas cared for while ours is clearly overlooked.

This level of neglect is completely unjustifiable. I expect the council to take immediate action to cut the grass, trim the shrubs, clear the leaves, and put in place a regular maintenance schedule. Residents should not have to tolerate these conditions or chase the council for the basic standard of upkeep we are already paying for.

Please treat this matter with urgency and provide a clear timeline for when the necessary work will be carried out.

Very Disappointed Resident -27 Allington Avenue, Tottenham, London, N17 8JE

There seemed to be a bunch of what looks like migrants loitering around the clock tower, spitting and blocking the walkway.
Ive heard rumours the YMCA has taken on asylum seekers. Surely based on everything in the news Haringey isnt going to let a beautiful area like crouch end start to decline and be filled with migrant issues. The community has the right to protest and be afraid of these men based on the horrible things since the summer. I pay enough in council tax as does everyone else so support this area, not to be betrayed by the council -Crouch End Clock Tower, The Broadway, London, UK
