Avenue Gardens is a cesspit of litter. Glass bottles, plastic bottles, cans, paper, traffic cones. A lot of which is partially hidden in the longer grass and then gets flittered everywhere by the lawnmower. And even then, it is still not cleaned up. This is now being escalated further, including to local councillors. This green space is constantly neglected and always littered. 30/04/2026 One day last year or beyond, lampposts FS4L & FS5L stopped turning on, we then noticed the bulbs were removed for a long time and then after being forced to get used to manoeuvring in the dark, we noticed the bulbs had been put in but still there has been no light which we think is out of order. We haven’t communicated about it with any of the locals so my guess they’ve just began coping with it too. Lastly, as we are reporting this during the day, i cannot be sure if the other IDs i noted work or not because you dont tend to think about it or notice as your so used to it either being on or off, but for sure FS4L and 5L have been off for a very long time now and is about time that got fixed.
