I am writing to report concerns about the recent road works on Holmdale Terrace, near Stamford Hill Station.<br/><br/>A new pavement build-out/extension has been installed on one side of the road. From what is currently visible, it appears to terminate directly at the station wall and does not form a usable crossing point or continuous pedestrian route.<br/><br/>This feature is confusing in practice and appears to:<br/><br/>* Reduce the already very limited carriageway width on this narrow street<br/>* Create a pinch point for vehicles where only one car can pass<br/>* Provide no clear pedestrian function at its current position<br/><br/>As it stands, it is unclear how this improves safety or traffic flow on this section of road.<br/><br/>Could you please clarify:<br/><br/>1. The intended purpose of this installation<br/>2. Whether the scheme is complete or still under construction<br/>3. How it is expected to improve pedestrian or vehicle safety in this location
