I am writing to bring to your attention a serious rodent problem on the side road of Lymington Avenue, London N22 6JA. In recent days, I have noticed several dead rats and mice in the area, while live rats are seen running constantly throughout the street. The presence of rodents raises obvious health risks, as they can carry diseases that threaten both residents and passersby. The accumulation of dead animals also risks contaminating soil and nearby property, and the constant activity of live rats is causing distress for local families and elderly neighbours alike. Additionally, the rodents appear to be attracted to household waste, which may exacerbate local hygiene and pest issues. Given these circumstances, I urge the council to take immediate action to inspect the area, remove the dead animals, and implement effective pest control measures. Prompt attention is essential to prevent the problem from worsening, to protect public health, and to maintain the safety and cleanliness of the neighbourhood. There's a massive hole on Lordship Lane, close to the intersection with High Road. It affects cars driving on Lordship Lane which take the right side lane at the traffic stop.
