Hi, it seems pretty obvious there will be severe traffic issues around the recycling centre when cars are queuing up to 100 metres back down to Coburg Rd.

91’s and 232’s could be stuck there for 30 minutes or more as they will not be able to overtake the queues as there is a blind vision right bend ahead of the recycling centre.

It would make sense to make this part of Western Rd one way from the Coburg Rd junction towards Station Rd.

Formal Complaint – Urgent Tree Maintenance Required at Yarmouth Crescent

I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding two trees on Yarmouth Crescent that now require urgent attention due to the risks they pose to residents and the surrounding properties.

The first is a large, overgrown fig tree located at 104/105 Yarmouth Crescent. It has grown to an excessive size and is now blocking a significant amount of natural light to nearby homes. In addition to the loss of light, the tree has become so large that it is now causing concern as a potential safety hazard. Its size and overgrown condition raise questions about whether it is being properly maintained and whether there is a risk of falling branches or further damage during periods of high winds or adverse weather.

The second tree, situated outside 131 Yarmouth Crescent, is also heavily overgrown and in need of maintenance. Like the fig tree, it has reached a point where it requires inspection and appropriate pruning to ensure it does not present a danger to residents, pedestrians, or nearby properties.

As a local authority, Haringey Council has a responsibility to ensure that trees on its land are inspected and maintained so they do not create unnecessary hazards or significantly impact residents' quality of life. These trees have clearly reached a stage where intervention is necessary.

I respectfully request that the Council arrange for an arboricultural inspection of both trees as a matter of urgency and carry out any pruning or maintenance required to address the issues outlined above. I would also appreciate receiving confirmation that this complaint has been logged, together with details of the action the Council intends to take and an estimated timescale.

I trust the Council will treat this matter seriously before the situation deteriorates further or an avoidable incident occurs.

There has been fly tipping at the end of car park before the school gates. This will need to be cleared as soon as possible, the school uses this as a drop off zone for the buses that collect and drop off from Riverside school. last time the fly tipping was inside the school bus area but we have since gated this, they have now fly tipped in front of the gates-Riverside School, White Hart Lane, Wood Green, London, N22 5QJ
