i live at 47 cecile park
my neighbour's hedge at 45 cecile park is well over 30ft tall and blocks ALL SUNLIGHT to my address.
please tell my neighbour they must REDUCE HEIGHT of hedge down to about 6ft maximum.
DO NOT tell them to reduce WIDTH. width does not affect me.
the hedge is of an obscene height and BLOCKS ALL SUNLIGHT to my address.
this is MY THIRD ATTEMPT to get some help from haringey.

28/10/2026 Urgent: The neighbouring property's gullies and drainage are contributing to a severe fly infestation at my grandmother's home. Tiny black flies have infested her kitchen for several weeks, seriously affecting her ability to use it and prepare food. A private pest controller has identified the gullies as a possible source. Please arrange an urgent inspection and clear or repair the gullies if necessary. My grandmother is elderly with health problems, and the issue remains unresolved.

28/10/2026 I would like to bring to your attention concerns relating to a Silver Birch tree planted in the pavement directly in front of my property. Since it as planted there has not been any visual evidence of any care undertaken by the council to maintain and ensure this tree is not interfering with local properties. The tree now towers well above the properties within its vicinity, interfering with overhead cables, blocking light and potentially causing damage to properties from its root system. A structural engineer recently surveyed my property and advised that this tree and its spread of roots is of concern and could potentially be causing cracks around the front bay window and advised the height being reduced by 2/3rds of its current height. It appears advice concerning the planting of Silver Birches suggests that they are planted no closer than 5 metres away from buildings and clearly this is not the case in this instance. I would like this matter to be investigated and request that the height of the tree be significantly reduced in the first instance with regular maintenance after this has been rectified and would have no hesitation in taking further legal action if deemed necessary. I would appreciate receiving your acknowledgement of my concerns with a timeline of the work to be carried out and when this will be actioned.
