I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding persistent speeding by vehicles on my road.<br/><br/>Vehicles are regularly travelling at excessive speeds, creating a serious safety concern for residents, pedestrians and other road users.<br/><br/>I am concerned that unless action is taken, it is only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or worse.<br/><br/>I would like the council to investigate this matter and consider introducing appropriate traffic-calming measures, including speed humps, improved signage, speed monitoring or other measures to prevent dangerous driving.<br/><br/>I would also request that a speed survey is carried out to establish the extent of the problem.<br/><br/>Please treat this as a formal road-safety complaint and provide a clear written response explaining what action the council intends to take.<br/><br/>Residents should not have to wait until a serious accident occurs before something is done.<br/><br/>I look forward to your response.<br/><br/>
