I am writing about the traffic signs at the junction of Langham Road and Belmont Road.

None of the signs on the east side of this junction face north, towards Belmont Road. A driver coming north along Belmont Road and turning left into Langham Road cannot see any of them until they have already turned in Langham Road. By then it is too late to avoid the restriction.

I have attached a photo of the junction, with the furthest sign highlighted in yellow. Turning this sign to face north would let drivers coming from that direction see the restriction before they turn and before they are fined unfairly.

I hope you will look into this and will make a change.

Regards.-42 Belmont Road, Tottenham, London, N15 3LU

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to raise a concern regarding the recent tree-pruning work carried out along the pathway, as the work completed a few days ago appears to be insufficient.

Location: 24 Miles Road, London, N8 7SJ
Streetlight pole reference: MR 803H

As shown in the attached photograph, only the foliage along the wall edges has been trimmed. However, the overgrown branches and leaves along the top edges, particularly those covering and obstructing the streetlight, have been left untouched.

Please could you arrange for the necessary additional pruning to be carried out as soon as possible to ensure the streetlight is fully visible and can illuminate the pathway properly?

This pathway remains extremely dark at night, creating a potential safety risk for the local community, particularly schoolchildren, women and elderly residents who use it regularly. Adequate street lighting is essential to help people feel safe and reduce the risk of accidents and other incidents.

I appreciate that some work has already been undertaken, but I kindly ask the Council to ensure that the remaining overgrown foliage blocking the light is properly cut back, rather than leaving the issue unresolved.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and confirmation of when the additional pruning will be completed.

Kind regards-24 Miles Road, London, UK
