I have water backing up from a blockage under the pavement/road that leads up to a downpipe drain. Olympus Group Drainage Engineers have conducted a cctv investigation and found a serious tree root blockage. I have a 90 year old disabled housebound lady living in the building. The young rowan tree on the junction of Connaught Road and Oakfield Road is sponsored by myself under the Trees for Streets scheme. It has a sucker coming out from its base which I think should be removed. I water the tree regularly, but I cannot prune the sucker as it is inside the water bag and inaccessible.
